Manuscript submission for the special issue of the TCM2016 papers by the TSFs journal has been extended until 10^th November.

It is our pleasure to announce the publication of the special issue on 6th International Conference on Transparent Conductive materials, which appears as a special section in 634 of Thin Solid Films.

Transportation from Chania Airport to Minoa Palace Hotel

Arrangements have been made, for TCM participants, for bus transfer from Chania airport to Minoa Palace hotel, on Sunday 9 October, at the following departure times:

18:30 hrs and 23:35 hrs.

Please note that the meeting point will be at the "AVIS RENT A CAR OFFICE" outside the arrivals lounge of the airport.

Look for the host who will be carrying a TCM sign.

21^st September 2016 is the latest version of the TCM 2016 timetable.
The Day by Day Programme has been changed on the 22^nd of September 2016.
Poster Sessions I & II has been changed on 22^nd of September.

The latest programme for "WIROX: Oxide Nanostructures for Wireless Chemical Sensing" has been changed on the 5th of October.

Notification of abstract acceptance for oral/poster presentation:	15 / 06 / 2016
New deadline for early registration payment:	15 / 08 / 2016
Deadline for hotel reservation:	30 /08 / 2016
Full manuscript submission extended date:	10 /11 / 2016

On behalf of the TCM2016 conference organizers and in response to numerous queries regarding the refugee problem and the consequences that this might have for participants travelling to Crete, I would personally and sincerely like to inform you all that Greece is, as always proven in the past, a hospitable and friendly country, the free choice of more than 22 million tourists annually. Crete in particular, being geographically isolated in the southern end of the country, is not affected by the current influx of refugees who are seeking a safe passage to the European mainland, and have found shelter mainly in the central and northern parts of the country. Therefore, for those who have the slightest reservation about travelling to Crete for the 10th anniversary of the TCM series next October, and as a result of which failed to meet the said deadline for abstract submission, we are setting May 16, 2016 as the new deadline and a second chance to be part of this memorable event.
